Sailing in the British Virgin Islands
It is no wonder that the British Virgin Islands prove popular with sailors – the unparalleled weather, reliable trade winds and stunning coastline render it a sailor’s paradise. When you choose to charter a yacht here, avoid hurricane season which occurs between June and November. Instead, opt for early spring to get some enviable sunshine and temperatures in the low-30s. Try some of the exquisitely prepared smoke ribs, which perfectly infuse sweet mango BBQ sauce to create something simply scrumptious. On Tortola, the lauded chef Imran Ashton has prepared an exquisite menu featuring classic island dishes with unexpected overseas influences. Why not take a drink back to your yacht to watch the sun set over one of the most beautiful corners of the world?
